Iran film on Australia winners lineup

ORION International Film Festival in Australia has awarded Iran film ‘Alphabet’.

Directed by Kianoush Abedi, Iranian animated short ‘Alphabet’ was picked as Best Animation at the 2019 ORION International Filmfest.

The 3D animated production of Iran's Documentary and Experimental Film Center depicts a nation that has forgotten the alphabet of living. They cannot see, hear, or speak, but the words are waiting for them eagerly.

The ORION International Film Festival is an online competition aimed at recognizing original and inspiring films by independent and new filmmakers.

All entries are judged based on 6 key areas, including Originality, Production Values, Cinematography, Performances, Editing, and Sound Design.

The event was held on December 15-20, 2018.
